What is permanent jewelry?
Custom fit, clasp-free and securely welded. Bracelets, anklets, rings and necklaces.
How long does it take?
Only 10-15 minutes, depending on how many pieces you are getting.
What is the process like?
Choose your chain(s) from our unique collection. Decide if you'd like charm(s). We tailor the chain to your custom fit. We weld, inspect & you're all set!
Will it tarnish?
The longevity of your chain will vary based on a variety of factors including exposure to chlorine, perfumes, lotions and other chemicals. Please refer to our jewelry care instructions. If properly cared for your jewelry will last as long as it is on. Permanent does not equal life proof.
How long will it last?
Most find that these pieces last quite a long time, months to years. It is important to remember permanent does not equal indestructible. If you have any issues with your permanent jewelry, please contact us.
How do I clean it?
You will want to clean your jewelry to maintain the sparkle. Mild soap and water can be gently wiped or softly brushed on your chain & charms to clean off any build-up. Rinse when finished. Since this is every day jewelry, daily activities will dictate how often you will need to clean it.
What if I want to remove it?
Using a pair of scissors or wire cutters, cut the small ring that was welded. Keep your chain and we can reweld it at your convenience.
Is it dangerous?
NO! We use high quality equipment made especially for permanent jewelry.
Unlike soldering, there is no flame, just a tiny spark.
Warranty
- Once you confirm that the sizing is correct and we cut the chain, it is final sale.
- If the jewelry separates at the weld point, Wicked Gems will offer a re-weld at no charge. Replacement chain/charms broken or lost are not included in this warranty.
- In any other circumstance, we are able to re-weld your permanent jewelry for $15 fee
- If your permanent jewelry is damaged or broken, we MAY be able to repair it for a fee.
- Wicked Gems is not responsible for lost or broken chains, charms, allergic reactions or stretching.
- Wicked Gems does not offer refunds or returns.
- If needed, permanent jewelry can be removed by using scissors or wire cutters at the welded ring.
- Permanent Jewelry is TSA friendly
- We will not use any chain or jewelry that is not supplied by Wicked Gems
- Anyone under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian present
- Safety goggles are given for eye protection & a leather patch can be used under the chain.
